Just letting you all know we have put out a call among our members for potential presenters and grading nominations.
If you would like to propose a presentation, please email us (or use the contact form) and include in a 200 word abstract for your plan. It could be an evening discussion panel, a presentation, a workshop or applications workshop. It could even just be forms practice on the beach. Needless to say, we can’t include you if we don’t know you are keen, and we are happy to help you develop your idea further if required. Expressions of interest are due by the 31st of July.
If you or your students has achieved a big training milestone, the conference is a fantastic opportunity to complete high level grading for Level 1 or higher. If your student has completed your own school’s requirements for a level 1, then a nominated instructor should start by reading the grading requirements on our website here. Then, if the student has met those requirements (e.g. hasn’t successfully graded in the last 3 years etc.), the instructor of that student should fill out a grading nomination form to instigate a chat with our grading panel about the student.
Grading nominations for the conference will be due the 16th of August and written examinations by September 16th.
